Complete bias, argumentative with facts nothing you can do to prove otherwise unless you have the extra cash. SO GRATEFUL for the incredible diagnostic and treatment skill Dr. Mellen provided. Her ability to professionally address and resolve complex needs for teens has been invaluable. In addition to her therapeutic excellence, she genuinely cares for her clients and treats with urgency and respect. Wholeheartedly recommend!
Easily the most unprofessional and completely bias “doctor” in the game today. Not sure if she’s looking for a quick and easy paycheck but certainly not looking to help people and be objective with her practice. Does not have the ability to differentiate truth or the know how to judge a psychological impairment. Not only would I not recommend her, it’s appalling she is on a list of court recommendations for evaluations. Stay away!!!
My ex husband and I attended court-ordered co-parenting counseling after our divorce with Dr. Mellen. She didn't help at all - charged us $2,000, gave us $1360 in services before my ex-husband said he wasn't interested in continuing on. Her counseling didn't help at all - no good co-parenting advice, didn't take into consideration all the past counseling we had attended nor any behavioral health diagnoses (he has a personality disorder), she offered no helpful mediation at all.
