My fiance and I came by for their Sunday brunch because I had heard nothing but good things but I really don't think we'll be coming back. We got there at 10:28 for our 10:30 reservation and ordered the donut holes, crab omelette, and Denton double. It took 30 minutes for the donut holes to arrive and when they did they were oily and cold. It seems like the duck fat wasn't hot enough and they sat long enough to get cold. Lovely, intimate place with absolutely delicious food. Our family enjoyed the steak special, the pork chop, the berry bliss salad and the shrimp and grits. Farm to table with inventive flavors and fantastic cuts of meat (the blackberry rub on my husbands steak was very subtle and intriguing. Waitress was attentive and kind, we really enjoyed our experience. We will be back to support this small business gem!
Once in awhile, you come across food that is so good that it lifts your mood. This is one of those rare places. There’s nothing not to like here: multiple local farms supported, great service, and a unique atmosphere in a converted house that makes you feel at home. I would drive out of my way to come here again!
1st visit, stopped for something light although dinner was flowing. Sourdough grilled.cheese jumbo lump crab sandwich and double smash cheeseburger (big) with homecut truffle fries excellent. Everyone there was happy and we watched every dish served..can't wait to go.back.for.dinner and what will we choose!?!
