Just like another review, we drove over an hour because of all the hype about the cakes. I was so disappointed. Fortunately I won a discount for the anniversary a couple days ago so I didn't pay as much but it was more the drive for that. The lemon cupcake was actually good. The mocha cupcake was horrible and I love mocha. The frosting was hard and seemed like lard and the cupcake itself was falling apart because it was so dry. The homemade pimento cheese is terrific! Go try it!
They only serve regular coffee, no decaf or tea if you choose to eat in. The cake is very good.
I purchased a Black Forest cake as a gift for my wife for her birthday on June 9th, 2025. She is from Switzerland and was delighted that I found a Black Forest cake, a traditional favorite of hers. Unfortunately, the cake was a major disappointment as it didn't resemble the authentic Black Forest cake we expected.
