Took 3 weeks for Jay to come out. Text/called every day during those 3 wks saying he would be out the next day to complete my repair. At that point he had been nice and seemed reasonably priced, so I stayed flexible. The day he actually completed the repair, he didn’t have the correct replacement parts that he agreed to install (said he’d have to order them), so I settled for an alternative that he recommended. Jay did some work for my mom after she saw him working on a neighbors house. She asked him for an estimate for a few things she needed done. He totally ignored her and just charged whatever he felt like after the work was done. The work he did was very poor and needed to be fixed afterwards because it caused a leak. When she questioned the price charged, he made her feel threatened to the point that she ended up paying more to make him go away before all the work was finished. Please don't do business with this man.

Fascia and soffit repair was good, and that's why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. The other work Jay did was either not done correctly, or incomplete. After a week of him no-showing with no contact, and had already paid him $3500 over the original work estimate, I told him to not come back. The other repairs to our siding were terrible, did not match, and I had to finish it myself. He claimed cedar siding was too hard to find.
