ok food Yes, I agree with the other reviewers. The food is what you expect from a diner. Average tasting greasy food but good portion sizes. Almost every time we've gone, there has been police eating here. So, we've always felt safe even though it's not in a bad area. We've only had one slow service and that was when the place was really hopping during the dinner rush.
Typical greasy diner If you like diner food then you will like Carolina Diner. It's a little too greasy for me - even the breakfast was too greasy and for me it's hard to ruin breakfast. Not a favorite and I won't return. Service was very quick and friendly though.
Decent food Carolina's Diner was decent food at a decent price. The service was prompt and friendly. The burger was a little greasy for my taste but everyone else in our party enjoyed their meal.
