Wondering what kind of follow-up there is, if any, after a patient comes away with a bacterial infection from shoulder surgery. To say it changed my world is an understatement, from emergency surgery to open shoulder back up, remove work that was done and clean out infection (went into the joint) followed by a week of hospitalization, daily regimen of antibiotic infusions, and installation of a PICC line to receive antibiotic IV infusions for a total of six weeks following hospitalization.
