I have been in for a colonoscopy for several times. Each time has been quick and as seamless as the procedure can be. However, this time I had to cancel my appointment that was made without consulting me on date and time. As it is my responsibility to reschedule I tried several times to call and make the new appt. I've given up. The last time I waited an hour and was never transferred to a person to reschedule. An hour wait is unacceptable. I took a screenshot to prove my point
My appointment was for 1:00. It was just there for a consultation (which lasted about 3 minutes and could’ve been done on FaceTime or a teleport call). I was FINALLY seen at 1:47. And when she came in, there was no apology or explanation or anything. I live in Swansboro, so the trip alone was time consuming. I don’t mind waiting too long as long as there’s some explanation. This place should be sued for delaying medical care causing hospitalization. My sister in law was scheduled for a medical check up due to complications. This office specifically, Dr. Salamon, canceled her appointment twice with no good explanation. When they finally saw her Dr. Salamon said we cant help you and you need to go to the hospital. Worst experience ever! The doctor didn't listen to wants going on with me at first . Had to talk to my R.A. doctor before the G.I. doctor would consider a colonoscopy. Finally got it done they were unable to finish due to twisted transverse colon. Set up an appointment for follow up .. at the follow up she than decided to order CT scan with contrest.
