I am so sorry for the people that had bad experiences!!! Not the staff we ever dealt with .our Dr Dill Macky moved back to Australia this,Fall .she,was beyond amazing ! All the staff we dealt with was great. We WOULD NOT put up with sub standard care for any of our fur kids !!!! Yes it is expensive!! You are in the ER. This morning my “regular vet” said my Coby needed to be put to rest. She and her nurse walked away and her nurse came back several minutes later to tell me they did not have the staff to euthanize him. It’s a Saturday, I have one sick boy, I receive devastating news and I got turned away. This caused me to panic and I started calling emergency vets in the area. The only positive is they’re open 24 hours seven days a week, but their billing department is a nightmare. My elderly mother’s animal was terminal so a recommended surgery was canceled but they have yet to refund the money over 2 months later. I am given the same excuse each time I call. Legal action may be required considering it’s a significant sum.
This place is extremely lucky that I don’t sue them over my NOW DEAD CAT!!!! This establishment is an absolute joke and frankly an insult to legit Veterinary hospitals! $1,300 worth of testing and not a single call for a whole MONTH over what the results were (I had to call and pry the information out of them myself, over a span of 2 days) not to mention the serious bacteria causing necrosis and my kitten’s literal FACE FALLING OFF! I was told my cat was “near death” and urgently needed multiple treatments because I accidentally used a small-breed dog flea & tick instead of a cat one. The staff insisted I rush back to see him because he was “screaming.” When I got there, he immediately calmed down, started purring, and was clearly fine. They had him pinned to a table, apparently mistaking fear for a medical emergency—which is alarming for a veterinary office.
