It is never ideal to take your pet to the vet, never the less two of them, during a family vacation. We found ourselves in that situation with one dog getting bit by a copperhead and the other out of no where having seizures. Luckily for us, we were able to find this place. We've had two experiences here now, and both times excellent service was provided. Obviously if you are here, it's likely the worst of circumstances for your pet... But the staff really handles it well and we've had a positive outcome both times thanks to quick, attentive,and skilled veterinary care. Price is reasonable considering great location and services provided at all hours of night, weekend, holidays. A true asset to the Bluffton area!
We were visiting Hilton Head Island. We had our dog with us and we were walking on the beach. He got a burr stuck between the pads of his paw. Ordinarily you could just pick up the paw and remove the burr. Our little guy is a bit odd and won't let us touch him, especially if something hurts. We tried several times with no luck so we reached out to Carolina Veterinary Critical Care. It was a Saturday but they told us to come on in and they would look at him.
