Dr. Orlando is very professional, kind, and helpful. She gave me advice and some ideas on various methods to try with my dog (that our regular vet didn't provide us with). Glad we found her!
My vet in Durham recommended Dr Orlando after my terrier bit me and I am so grateful. He is a rescue with a questionable history and his fear aggression seemed to come out of nowhere. Dr Orlando taught me to read his signs and recognize what sets him off and it totally changed our lives. This March, another rescue came into our lives who had some resource guarding issues. Prices were extremely expensive...over $500 and not more helpful than doing your own research online. You are required to fill out a 7 page intake form. At my appointment I was asked more questions (about 90% of the time) and only the last few minutes were directed towards advice, most of which I already knew based on my research. I would not recommend.
I was fortunate to have met Dr. Orlando when she was a resident at NCSU. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and communicative. Dr. Orlando took an incredibly detailed history so that she had all of the information required to help me and my dog, and was there for us every step of the way.
