Signed up for service, paid $117 (4 months), and was told a can would be delivered and pickup would start the next morning. Later, I got a call saying they would not take me on as a customer because the driver claimed my address had been serviced by them before and was “not on the books.” I’ve lived here for eight years and have never used Carolina Southern Sanitation. I’m honestly not sure why they have such a low rating. My experience has been great! They’re very communicative and always send an email if they’re going to be late, along with an updated delivery day. Any time I’ve needed to speak with someone, they either answer the phone or call me back within about 30 minutes. And a couple bucks per quarter? Yes, please! For the price and the communication, I’ve been very happy with the service. My only thing is I wish I could pay online and they recycled in my area

Our trash provider unexpectedly shut down, and I was really scrambling to find someone else who could handle residential trash service. I reached out to CSS. Even though they didn't cover my area, they kindly helped me find another service that does. Thank you!

So I'm sure most people know about thd ordeal with Trash Police which I signed up with end of March 2026. This past week they failed to pickup all of thier customer's trash. They are no longer servicing and claim to be selling thier company. Anyway...that means a lot of people are expecting refunds and are scrambling to find another trash company. One of the best companies i have ever dealt with. They are "down home, down the street" kind of people who know how to treat their customers. Reliable, trustworthy, and extraordinary customer service is what sets them apart from the other companies. By far, they are my #1 choice!
