If you're on the fence about installing sun tunnels, go for it—they are 100% worth it, even if the sun's trajectory isn't perfect. They make a huge difference in the overall feel of the house. It has been almost a year since we had ours installed, and it is still our favorite home improvement project. We had solar tubes installed in our two windowless bathrooms. Very pleased with the results and the natural light. Zigi and his crew did a great job. Installation was neat and quick.
We had a tricky 2-tube install through the metal/plywood roof of our 150-yr old South Carolina farmhouse. Zigi and his crew handled this job with great care and intelligence, avoiding the solid-oak rafters and joists to bring relaxing light exactly where needed in our simple yet (formerly) dark kitchen.
