I hired Eric Tyson and Carolina Scape Artists to build a Patio for my Townhouse in Leland NC and paid them a deposit on June 15, 2018 and another deposit on August 24, 2018. I just want to say that our experience with Carolina Scape Artists, Eric Tyson and his team was a very pleasant one. They showed up to our first appointment, (we had many other contractors set up and never show) they helped us with the designing process, providing several free computer renderings, (that others charge for) they helped us select the best material to match our wants and budget. Worst experience ever. Eric Tyson is a liar and a thief!! He took a large sum for a deposit, and stopped responding to phone calls, emails, and texts. He has yet to start the job that was promised back in October. I do not believe that these positive reviews are real. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Eric Tyson, you will be hearing from my lawyer!!!!!!!
If there was a way to give negative stars, that would be what this company deserves. Eric Tyson accepted a $20,000 deposit from my family 5 months ago to do a job that he has not even started. He will not respond to emails, phone calls, or text messages from anyone, including the attorney that was hired to get the money back. He was given deadline after deadline, only to continue to put off starting the job. My family does NOT deserve this and has requested their money back multiple times!
