My first visit to CO&S was a good experience. From check-in, speaking with a nurse, the x-ray tech, to the doctor, everyone was professional and courteous. I'm glad I went and highly recommend Carolina Ortho & Sports!

I was referred by several people that this was the place to go. Vocational Rehabilitation is paying to have my knee done. The lady from billing came out and kept telling me that they don't do charity care. And that I was to go across the hospital. I told her 3 times that Rehabilitation was paying and she kept trying to give me a paper for charity care. She embarrassed me in front of a room full of patients. This was the worst doctor visit that I have ever had! My appointment was changed and I did not know it until I came for the 'designated' appointment. They said that they called but I had no message nor any Email/letter that it had been moved out. Dr McOwen came in and did not introduce herself so I didn't have a clue who she was. Getting a return phone call is immensely frustrating. I’ve left 3 messages over 2 weeks. No one is that busy. They just don’t care . Time for me to shop for another doctors office.

Waited 50 minutes this time to see my Dr. No update provided by front staff after checking twice. Walked out. Not my Dr. anymore. Wasted my entire day. (The day before to reconfirm that appointment I was on hold for over 30 minutes.) As I left the last thing I asked was for them to call me to reschedule. As I was walking away, I heard one of the women say "they ain't gonna call" Unbelievable. They have zero consideration for their patients time!! * Follow up 24 hours later, no call for reschedule.
