Saw a doctor here, I had some serious hip pains, and asked for an MRI. He told me the MRI was unnecessary and doesn’t always tell you everything, and my hip pain is most likely arthritis and wrote me a prescription for arthritis meds. I’m young and healthy and an athlete, there’s no way it’s arthritis. Annoyed, I saw another ortho surgeon, who gave me the MRI, and saw a large tear in my labrum in my hip that needs surgery to be corrected. Unbelievable. Glad I didn’t take the arthritis meds for the rest of my life...
