We were extremely disappointed with our experience. Due to officially reported icy road conditions and an expected severe winter storm warning issued by town officials, it was unsafe to travel to the cabin. This was not a matter of convenience—it was a legitimate safety concern backed by local authorities. Beware booking! They won’t give you your money back even if there’s a giant snow storm and you can’t travel.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Carolina Getaway Cabins! The properties are so beautiful, spacious, cozy, and the managers of the property were so so accommodating during our stay. Kris also helped me plan my wedding at Elk and she truly delivered the wedding of my dreams. 10/10 would recommend over and over again. And 100% plan on going back! The best.
