Rented the sprinter for a trip with my kids. Paid the full balance up front! 2 days before my reservation my rental is canceled but no email or call. The only way I noticed was looking in my bank account and noticed the money was refunded. Then when I reached out all I was told was “vehicle maintenance”. VERY FRUSTRATING to have to investigate my cancelled reservation on my own and to have this happen 2 days before my trip. My tip to anyone renting in the future CALL FIRST! Rented a 12-passenger sprinter van for a day trip and it was great. The reservation happened somewhat last-minute but Carolina Fleet Rental couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The van was clean and easy to drive, and it made the day so much more enjoyable that we could all ride together. The fact that they allowed us to pick it up and drop it off on the same day was wonderful - everyone else in the area wants to force you to keep it overnight.
