I’ve had a very disappointing experience with this property. Communication is extremely poor — getting a response to questions or concerns is frustrating and often takes far too long, if it happens at all. The management comes across as lazy and uninterested in actually supporting the residents. The property itself feels poorly built and not well maintained, and there are absolutely no amenities offered to make living here worthwhile. My son went 8 months without a bedroom light! 8 months our pantry didn’t have a light and our oven has never held temperature since we moved In. no sense of urgency to get anything done! And the pool was going to be done by September! 🤣🤣🤣 and we pay a lot of money for a house that will blow over in a strong wind. Should have left the review months ago to hopefully warn others but after today’s eviction note with added legal fees up to $700 im done!
Pegasus Residential just recently took over management of the Carolina Crossing community and as to be expected, there is a transition period as this new company establishes itself amongst all the residents. I recently had a discrepancy on my monthly lease amount where I went to the management office to discuss my issue with a temporary staff member by the name of Jennifer.. Worst rental experience of my life. I want to be very clear: the issues we experienced existed before, during, and after multiple management changes. Do not let the current company (Pegasus) convince you that these problems were caused by “old management.” They were not. This property is a textbook example of false advertising and resident neglect. Despite charging luxury-level rent, there were no real amenities, constant mismanagement, and zero accountability. NO FENCE! NO POOL! NO AMENITIES! We have waited over 2 years for amenities that were promised to be coming soon since January 2024. Carolina Crossing should be ashamed of themselves for lying. These are homes are NOT LUXURY, they are cheap and poorly built. Terrible insulation, everything falls apart and breaks, plumbing issues, AC and heating has stopped working multiple times.
