Upon arrival for my scheduled surgery, I was informed that I would be required to pre-pay for the procedure despite having active medical insurance coverage. I was told that payment in full was necessary prior to check-in. My daughter had knee surgery here and we had a fantastic experience! The staff were so kind and Pat was the best! Check-in to discharge couldn’t have went any smoother!

Had my first knee replacement in May, 2024. The experience was absolutely flawless, start to finish. I just scheduled my second knee replacement for July, 2025. Going back again. Efficient, caring staff. Great experience. Runs like a Swiss clock.

As a recent patient at Coastal surgery center, I was in the building and needed a place to sit down and wait for my ride. When I sat for a few minutes in the lobby of the Coastal surgery center, I was asked to leave because I wasn’t going in for surgery or waiting for someone to come out of surgery. This really exhibits the poor quality patient care after the fact.

Terrible experience I’m told to arrive at a particular time only to wait an hour The front staff was very argumentative I was also told insurance had not approved my surgery 15 minutes before arrival That I could go ahead and come but I would have to sign a paper stating I would be financially responsible if my insurance declined the procedure. Why would surgery be scheduled without approval? This was a network provider I won’t be using again
