My daughter and I moved in Carol Stream Crossing in the end of October. My son's friend used to live in the apartment I live in now. They had to move him to another apartment because the toilet never works. Knowing there were major problems, they had me and my daughter move in. Maintenance and plumbers tried to fix the toilet 7 times. We are discussed with this apartment. The water was off all day today and the kitchen water is still off. The pest problem is out of control. you cannot exterminate one unit and not expect pest not to run to the next. The entire building has to be exterminated on the same day, and weekly until the problem is solved. It's not right to expect people to live under these conditions! If they can just eliminate the pest problem, it would be a decent place to live!
The customer service is complete rubbish. I don't usually write reviews, especially bad reviews but these people will say whatever is in their mouth to end the conversation. They will make promises after promises but they will end up screwing you over. Please do yourself a favor and don't get involve with them. You will regret it.
Getring Progressively Worse I've been here a couppe years & would leave today if possible. The water is off often without notice, maintenance is a wait and see. Laumdry equipment often broken or in use, 4 washers and 4 dryers each building.
This place is an absolute joke. Let’s begin with the facilities... broken doors, rusting stairwells, broken glass, dysfunctional elevator, broken emergency flood lights, hallways reek of pot... have a maintenance request? Forget about it. Fix it yourself, but pay for maintenance costs. We were told we would have central air, but when called about why my air won’t turn on I’m told that there is a bogus town ordinance (which is not remotely true) about how they can’t until the temperature has been consistently over 74 degrees ... read more
I would love to give no star ! But no option for that. First of all, no AC Till mid of may ! And once the AC is on guess what, its on fan mood !!!! I had my AC on for the last 3 days and the read in my house still at 84 and im sweating.. same thing happened when i moved but did not complain as it was October they say oh because its hot out it wont cool ( are you serious ? ) so everyone living in summer have no AC ?
