I have been working with Dr. Parker since I switched insurances. I was really nervous and stressed about having to find a new psychiatrist after getting off of my parents' insurance. She made the transition so comfortable and easy. I am very grateful to have her part of my health care team as she is very supportive and attentive. It's funny that some of these reviews mention empathy and compassion because I experienced none from her. She completely discarded a diagnosis that i've had my entire life and was extremely dismissive of my very regular emotions of struggling to accept her diagnosis. It was like she was being overly rude and stern because she felt like she wouldn't be taken seriously otherwise. But it was in fact the way she spoke that maybe not take her seriously. Carol has been great! She really listens to and takes into account my concerns as we’ve worked to find a solution that works for me. Takes time to answer any questions, responds quickly, and has after work hours availability.
