I have never found Dr. Carol to be anything less than empathetic. She will take as much time as necessary to find resources for her patients. She is kind. She has always been willing to take the extra time to explain conditions to both the patients and parents.
Dr. Cooley-Guth has been our three children's pediatrician from the time of their birth. She is a down-to-earth, attentive, caring, professional pediatrician with our five-star recommendation.
Never. Her bedside manner is horrible! She is rude. Talks down to patients and their parents. This happened to me personally on more than one occasion.
Dr. Heimerl is a very good doctor. I was surprised to see some of the other reviews. I had no issues with his bedside manner. He puts you at ease, takes his time and explains everything thoroughly. I have had so many doctors who rush through appointments and don't let me ask questions. This doctor is very patient and let's you ask as many questions as you need. I highly recommend.
Our family has seen Dr Mike for urgent needs on several occasions and he is consistently rude and talks down to us, making us feel as though we are a nuisance for bringing our very sick children to him. I love Tonawanda Peds and the rest of our experience at this practice has been wonderful but we will not see him again. Our last visit was this week and was the worst yet in how condescending he was with me.
My first bad experience at Tonawanda Pediatrics. The other reviews are correct, this doctor has horrible bedside manner and is very condescending. It was an awful experience and I still have this terrible feeling in my stomach from interacting with Dr. Mike. I would recommend that any mom or dad thinking of taking their child to reconsider. There are plenty of other good, kind doctors at Tonawanda Pediatrics. I advise you see one of them instead.
Dr. Lauria has always let me make the parenting decisions while he offers medical counsel to me. I've always felt respected and comfortable bringing my kids to visit him.
So disappointed. No parent wishes to bring their child to the doctor for an urgent issue and this doctor made it even worse. He was awful. Cannot believe he is in the medical profession. Rude, flippant, terrible bedside manner. Perhaps he was angry to be working on a Saturday....of course that's no excuse for a grown man to behave so unprofessionally.
Horrible. He talks badly to other physicians about parents and has no compassion. He's loud, has terrible bedside manner, and reflects poorly on the practice as a whole. I'd trust webmd before him.
