Something felt off about her. I just felt uncomfortable with the way she spoke to me, so I stopped seeing her. I have PCOS, so I have issues with my weight, and I can't remember what she said, but she made a couple of weird comments. Fast forward, I now have a male OBGYN, and he is great. He was quick, concise, and made me feel comfortable. He did not make any unnecessary comments and just got his job done. Asked me if I had any questions, and the visit with him was smooth.
I hope you read before visiting - I never wrote about this at the time because I was so traumatized. In 2021, around the time I had just turned 20 I made the mistake of visiting this office without my mother. This doctor made me sign a piece of paper without telling me what for - I thought it was standard new patient forms. She then performed a full biopsy on me - without me having any idea whats going on. I was so scared. Dr. Dunetz was the warmest doctor I’ve ever met. She came in smiling, we talked, she was supportive, she asked about everything, she answered my questions, she did a thorough exam, we laughed a bit and I was sorry I hadn’t used her for the 41 years she’s been practicing. I highly recommend her.
I had a great experience with Dr. Dunetz today. Super easy to talk to and calmed me down. Thoroughly checked me more than any other gyno I have been to. She spent time talking to me. I also didn’t wait at all and went right in. Love when the appointment you make is actually on time!
It’s a bad sign when the office staff is condescending and downright scary sounding on the phone. Absolutely bizarre.
