Dr. Carol Chiu was amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. When it came towards the end of my pregnancy she listed to my concerns and helped make me feel more at ease. I highly recommend her! My husband attended many of my appointments and was pleased with her as well. Very kind and willing to explain things we didn't understand. After having my baby, she came and visited us at the hospital the next day to say hi and check in even though she wasn't scheduled at the hospital.
She was soooo amazing!!! I had to switch to her due to new insurance and was real nervous! Her assistant and her made me feel the most comfortable when going to a new dr. and new place!
She didn't respect the wishes of me and my husband for our pregnancy. Was dismissive when I did have concerns. Not recommended
Does not seem to consider what is in the patient's best interest when it comes to FMLA and disability leave due to pregnancy. You would think a final physician would be more empathetic when it come to the lack of maternity leave benefits in this country. I wouldn't recommend her unless you want an OB who thinks all women should be able to work until the second they go into labor, despite undesirable circumstances in the workplace.
