Carol was really informative and organised our time together efficiently so that I could get the most out of our visit. I was able to reduce bottle feeding down to 1-2 bottles a night and breastfeed all day. I had more confidence understanding my baby’s hunger cues. Latch became more comfortable. Unfortunately I had to stop breastfeeding at 5 months due to a medical condition that required my estrogen levels to return to normal. Carol was very open, kind and friendly. She responds in a timely manner as well as answers questions that you may have. She is very informed about her practice. I would definitely seek her out again with my next baby if I need help with breastfeeding. Unbeknownst to me at the time, I had underlying health issues which prevented me from producing milk, but she was very supportive when I decided to stop and was even willing to help me if I developed mastitis or clogged ducts while stopping.
We are so pleased with our lactation consult with Carol. She was so knowledgeable and was able to correct my breastfeeding technique. pain and discomfort was relieved and my breastfeeding times were improved right away. My newborn baby gained 1kg after less than 3 weeks after my consult as evidence of the effective latch. We are happy to have found Carol to help us with our breastfeeding journey. Will definitely recommend her.
