I know there are tons of places in SA that sell carnitas, but this specific spot’s are really delicious—they aren't full of grease or gristle. I like the texture of a proper carnita—not the mushy, dark stuff you sometimes find elsewhere. The only thing is that I do consider them a bit pricey, but it’s a treat we can indulge in every now and then.
The first time I ate here, the food was incredible. I had the carnitas and the chicharrón, both in a delicious green sauce, and they were honestly some of the best I've had. The meat was so flavorful that I knew I'd be back. The next time I looked at the menu, it seemed a little different, but that wasn't a big deal. This was in a gas station. There are restaurants that don't have as good of food. I'm really impressed.
