We have used Carnes Funeral Home twice now. Our funeral director Mary Jo was so caring and helpful throughout the entire process. Their Texas City location facilities are very nice and welcomed my family with care and professionalism. No one ever wants to think about final arrangements however if you ever find yourself needing to make such arrangements, CFH will definitely take good care of you! It’s been 3 months since our mom passed away and let me tell you that on the hardest day of our lives Carnes was there for us every step of the way. Mary was the perfect person to help guide us through the perfect service and make our moms final arrangements exactly what we know she would’ve wanted. Planning a service for a parent was extremely hard but Carnes and Mary made it bearable.

I was concerned about how my husband would look at his viewing. Carnes did an impeccable job. The only thing I have to say is it is hard to get someone on the phone and and that maybe 1 or 2 staff members could be more emphatic via phone. However I am sure this will change as they increase staff. They did an amazing job. We will definitely entrust our loved ones with them in the future. May blessings rain upon your business!

Being on the frontage road of I-45 during major construction, and experiencing the sudden death of a loved one are two very difficult and painful events. The staff and facility at Carnes Funeral Home were extremely supportive before, during and after my loss. Everything I needed was provided with an extra measure of quality, cleanliness, and respect. The service allowed me to receive the closure I needed to work through part of the grieving process. Thank you for a job well done.
