Love Dr.Ruiz she has performed surgeries on my father and my son. Now I’m her patient. She takes her time and even called me at night to check on my dad. She performed very risky operations and we had no problems at all! She will always be my colorectal surgeon! Thank you
My mom went to see her 2x and I only heard over the phone bc my mom doesn't speak English. So, I translated for her over the phone. We saw 2 colon cancer doctors this Dr and another at white Memorial hospital, no empathy at all. The rectal exam looks painful they don't care & not gentle at all. During my mom 2nd visit I have to come down myself 5 hours drive. She walked by us without smiling or saying anything. She's a bad communicator, doesn't listen to her patients. Carmen (she doesn't deserve the honorific) recommended a surgery I didn't need and then abdandoned me during my post op. The office is generally badly run. While sitting in an exam room I heard the office staff taking calls over speaker which is a huge HIPAA violation. I heard everything patients shared; their names, procedures, follow-up next steps etc. Avoid her at all costs!
