The food and service are great! The bread is exceptionally good. Everything tasted homemade
It started with the drinks, Vodka with Cranberry, should never be served as Vodka with Cran-Cherry, no offer to make a different cocktail .. dinner was mediocre at best. We are foodies and eat out at a lot of Italian restaurants.
Just not that good. Ok at best.
I wrote a long review describing the meal my very beautiful wife and I had at Carmello's last night. Unfortunately I seem to have lost it, and it's too long to retype. So here's the bottom line: If you're in Charlottesville go there. It may be the best meal you ever eat. And if you're not in Charlottesville go there. It may be the best meal you ever eat. Food, service, and atmosphere are all 5 star!
