Delicious food, great service, great place to go.
My partner and I love it here, it’s our go to date spot. We visited last night for our anniversary and the staff were absolutely lovely, very kind and complimentary. We arrived relatively late and they assured us that we could take all the time we needed. Our waiter remembered us from our previous visits and was extremely nice as always. At this point, we visit mostly for him! The food was delicious, the alfredo is a must have. Great takeout experience. The salad dressings and pasta sauces are very clearly freshly made in house and are wonderful. The chicken parm was a generous portion and excellent all around. The black forest cake is also fantastic! Mama Stella knows her craft!
I've been to them all and Carmello's is the best restaurant in Charlottesville, hands down. The food, the wine, the ambience, and the staff are second to none. Why eat at a chain restaurant for the same price or less, when you can have an exquisite dining experience at Carmello's?
