We are repeat customers at Carmello's. Both the service and the food are exceptional. Every course is freshly prepared to order and the servings are plentiful. We always feel welcome, like family, and are never rushed through our courses.
Try the Scampi Gamberi and the Clams Casino Royale for an appetizer. They are exceptional!
You won't be disappointed. Mama Stella is the best.
Service was good but the food was disappointing considering these ratings. The veal I ordered was tough and salty and overpriced at $30. The baked Brie looked and tasted like it was just zapped in the microwave for a bit, also overpriced at $12. The fried artichokes were an interesting item - I imagined they would be crispy and fried directly like Carciofi alla Giudia, but they were breaded and saucy.
