delicious grinders The first item I ever ordered from Carmella's was a hot grinder that was absolutely delicious. I went back for pizza on my next visit and it was very good, but not my first choice pizza destination. The waitstaff was very friendly and the restaurant is super clean. If you are in the mood for a delicious grinder, head to Carmella's.
RecommendedI tried Carmella's meat lover's pizza tonight and it was delicious. I am not a pizza snob but this is one of the best pizzas I've had in the past few years. I'll definitely come back!

The salad here has literally been my absolute favorite for at least 17 years! Back when I was 20 and a lifeguard at Gooseberry Beach, I'd order it for lunch and zoom across town during my lunch break and enjoy it on the stand... now it's still special treat! Everything else there is so delicious and fresh too! The staff is also incredible! They clearly work very hard and are all very kind! Love this place! Been around for 15yrs and whenever I stop in Newport/Middletown, RI I make it a point to go! Their wraps and subs are awesome- steak bomb and buffalo chicken are a couple of my favs. And, of course, the pizza is great! Make sure you stop in for a cozy dinner or grab a bite to go- won't be disappointed!
