I spent a month and a half in Italy, and tried to find food equal to Carmelina's! Impossible! I tried restaurants in Trento, Venice, Bologna, Rome, Naples, ... From appetizers to entrees, specials, ... what is stunning is the quality of the ingredients. The fish from seaport fish markets, the meat from Sulmona, the shopping for produce and dairy done daily! I'm fastidious about my food and can spot a sour sauce, an old piece of fish, a tough piece of steak, and am not shy and I send food back! It's never happened here! ... read more
