RecommendedCarmela is absolutely incredible. She is caring, companionate, thorough, and funny! She is easy to get ahold of and really listens and takes the time to get to know you. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her - best Dr. I’ve ever had - in any field of practice.
She has been my doctor since I was 12 and I still go to her faithfully. I love her because she doesn't just treat you as a patient but as family. She is very thorough and attentive. She remembers everything (personal and professional) about you even if you haven't seen her for several months. I will be moving over an hour away from her but she will still be my forever doctor. She's worth the drive.
Called to see if they accepted my insurance and was told yes, so I scheduled an appointment. A week later went to my appointment only to find out they didn't accept my insurance. Staff told me if I made an adjustment to my insurance by the next visit than everything would be fine. Sat in the waiting for 50 minutes until finally the nurse told me Dr. Abessinio refused to see me infront of the whole waiting room. Dr. Carmela is one of the nicest people you will come across. She is sincerely interested in the well being of her patients while at the same time is clearly knowledgable & professional. I highly recommend her.
She helped deliver my 2 beautiful babies and she's such a wonderful OB/Gyn!
Best Dr. in the world she hasn't failed me yet ;) Delivered both my grandchildren. Has ALWAYS taken good care of me. I wouldn't trade her for a million dollars.
Best Doctor I have seen. She took great care of me throughout my pregnancy. Always spent time with me and made sure all my questions were answered. Could not have asked for a better experience. She also had a wonderful and responsive office staff.
