To all my Phoenix friends. My wife's car died on her way to pick up the kids today. Just happened to be by the auto shop Caramel Automotive at 19th ave and thunderbird. I knew it was the alternator since I replaced the battery last weekend. They tried to charge me 600 dollars to replace it. 200 dollar part. 2 bolts to change it. When I went to pick it up they charged me 65 bucks to test the alternator. (Any auto parts store will do it for free. ) even charged me to charge the battery. Do not go there.
Terrible Customer service, and issues being fixed and charged in excess of $1000 from diagnosis cable and alt. were both good and draw on battery was air ride suspension.
