My fiancé had a terrible experience at CarMax. He was buying a $42,000 car with an $18,000 down payment and has excellent credit. He originally wanted to put the car under his company, but they said they couldn’t. So he agreed to finance it personally instead. Worst car buying experience ever! Stay away from this guys! Tried to buy the car from them and almost finished when their manager, i beleive his name was Carl, killed the whole car sale. Nothing wrong with my credit, it is over 700, downpayment was almost 20k. and i wanted to pay off the car within few months, not years, then Manager wanted to offer help when we almost closed the sale, but then killed the deal at all. I wouldnt recommend anyone to deal with Carmax!
