I helped my father get his car from CarMax. He paid $18,000 for it and despite repeated trips back to CarMax - they were unable to make it right. Apparently the 90 point checkup is worthless. About 5 months from the sales date the engine final died. Another dealer said he could spend $10,500 to get a new engine. This is crazy . . .$28,500 for a used 2016 vehicle.
