First time buying a car here. Fantastic up front service with honesty & transparency. Zack with his Manager Jesus provided a wonderful experience in purchasing a vehicle with Carmax. Plus, 90 day warranty. 10 day return policy, & they let you test drive the vehicle on your own. Giving you the opportunity to really be with the vehicle by yourself. Which is wonderful.
Everyone was very pleasant and easy to work with. Very clean facility. I appreciated being able to take the test drive at my own pace so I don't feel rushed that I can go through the car thoroughly. I really liked being able to complete almost everything online before hand to reduce my time at the dealership. I will definitely look into Carmax for future vehicle purchases.
I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle from CarMax with a 90-day limited warranty, and our experience has been frustrating and unacceptable from day one. We’ve now had the car in for the same check engine light issue FOUR times, and it still hasn’t been resolved. Despite this, CarMax refuses to replace the vehicle or take it back — instead expecting my active-duty military husband to repeatedly take off work just to bring it in again.
