We just sold our 2016 Acura MDX to Carmax Gaithersburg on March 5th. Very pleasant experience and very fair deal. We arranged the appointment online in advance. We also completed estimate and paperwork online in advance. The entire process in store was complete in less than 20 minutes. Would highly recommend. Kemari S. greeted is upon arrival. CarMax sold me a Hyundai on 2/8/26 and on 2/26/26 the check-in light came on. The last time I purchased a car from CarMax several years ago, I purchased a Chevy that had transmission issues within 7 days of purchase. Life can be tough as it is, but being sold faulty vehicles is exhausting.
Extremely unprofessional sales manager George. My vehicle was appraised and they said the transmission was slipping when it is not. I took it to my mechanic afterwards and they gave it they all good. Sales manager George would not even look at me in the eyes when speaking with me he was to focused on his phone.
