I bought a new to me car from CarMax in Wilmington. Purchasing the car was made easy and fast and the staff members were professional and NOT pushy. I did have an issue with my key fob a couple weeks after purchasing my car. We didn’t buy a car but we did sell our car to Carmax, because their offer was better than the dealership we purchased from! It wasn’t the highest offer we got when attempting to trade other places, but it wasn’t far off and it was very fair. We visited several times to browse over two weeks and we spoke to Yahya and Derek and they were both very pleasant and personable to work with and remembered us when we came in. Buying a car at a dealership is comparable to going to the DMV lol. We all know it’s stressful, takes forever and is a migraine at best. However!! The team at carmax was absolutely amazing. I’ve never had such a good car buying experience (and I’ve bought a lot of cars lol) and they really do what they can to help you! I was very pleased with my experience with Carmax Wilmington! I started out browsing the vehicles available at the Wilmington Carmax and enjoyed how easy and hassle-free it was. Upon arrival, there was no associate following us around the lot - they just told us all of the cars are unlocked and available to look in! Each of the cars had clear pricing, mileage, and age on the pamphlets in the windows so you could see exactly what you’d be signing up for.
