It was okay. Nothing against the staff, there was a lot of people, and the staff did there best trying to get everyone out on time. But selling the car took 2 hours. Everyone was really nice, and considerate, worked as a team. If a buy a car I would go back to Carmax. They even got me a lyft so i can go home. One thing I do recommend, please give everyone some water bottles.

I DO NOT recommend buying or selling here. I purchased my vehicle from a different Carmax in August 2023. At the time of purchase, I was given paperwork to get new tires at this South Sac location (closest to home) since tire treads were low. Great! I was happy I didn't have to drive hours to get them replaced. Got the new tires from this location and that's where all the problems start. 2 separate auto shops told me they could not perform a tire rotation because one lug nut could not be removed from my front right tire. I will recommend and have recommended CarMax to others since my purchase. The care I received from the moment I scheduled a car for delivery, test driving, purchasing, and after has been amazing. I'm genuinely surprised at the care, I was very nervous about the entire process. Update: I have had my vehicle for 6 months now and have had to take it back to CarMax several times before my 30 days being up.
