Very fair and easy to do business with. I went on line-completed CarMax questionnaire on my vehicle-- was quoted a fair price--several days later at my home my auto was picked up and I was given a check for agreed price.
Sold a car here and they honored their online appraisal and got the deal done in less than 30 minutes. Easy, quick, no pressure, no hassle.
My sales and finance people did great. My issue was that the oil light came on during the drive home. The prox key fell apart and I realized that it was a blank key. It had never been cut to fit the car!
I bought my 3rd vehicle, a 2016 Acura RDX, from CarMax a couple weeks ago. I have never had a bad experience at any CarMax lot. The staff has always been nice and respectful. It was the same when I was in my early 20's and now at 49 years old. That goes a long way with me. Some dealership sales people are not easy to work with. CarMax is the complete opposite.
