Great food & amazing service!!
We had them cater our wedding and it was AMAZING!!!!! The portion sizes and options were great, it felt like we had gotten everyone an amazing home cooked meal instead of sterile, bland, boring catering! Honestly, we may make the trip down to Rome to her restaurant just to relive our wedding day! Carmalita and her team were also super helpful and kind, they ended up helping so much that day and just went above beyond!
Private event for 60 catered on the evening August 5th, 2022, in Rome, Ga. Carmelita's was scheduled to arrive for prep at 5pm for meal service at 7pm, the crew arrived at 6:40pm and was not ready to serve until 7:30pm. The food was less than mediocre. The yams were canned and swimming in the canned juices without the spice flavorings you would expect on yams. The Red Velvet cake was dry.
