Do not recommend if over a size 6. Unfortunately if you are above that size you aren’t made to feel very welcome. Tainted a first time dress shoppers experience badly. Luckily there were much more wonderful options ( shoutout to grad central for being amazing! ) in town that made up for the experience at this place.
I had my first wedding dress shopping experience at Carly’s Bridal yesterday, and unfortunately, it was incredibly disappointing. The staff were shockingly rude and made blunt, insensitive comments about my body in front of other customers, leaving me feeling humiliated and insecure. If you are over a size 8 I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Left with my daughter in tears as she was told very abruptly that the size 12 dress she was trying on would never fit and they literally ripped it off her. Absolutely awful experience. We went straight to downtown to another shop where they were lovely and very accommodating and where the size 10 and 12 dress DID fit! We talked about our experience with Carley and 2 other people in the store piped up about having similar experiences ! So we aren’t alone.
Exceptional experience and customer service! Carly really cares. She brings you in and makes you feel right at home. Her selection of dresses was impressive. And her knowledge and advice were unparalleled -- especially when it came to things like alteration considerations and ways to make each dress work for me. Highly recommended!!
Cannot recommend her enough! I found the perfect dress at her shop and she made it look stunning on me. And her prices are super reasonable!
