Very unprofessional. Not at all concerned for patient welfare. While the medical assistant was gathering health history, it was noted that the nurse practitioner is not allowed to prescribe one of my medications. And I questioned having a doctor, in addition, to the nurse practitioner as part of my treatment team. I was told this is not possible if I establish with the nurse practitioner I can only always ever see the nurse practitioner.
