Dr Skamra has been my rheumatologist for several years. She is very caring and thorough.
I went with my mom to see Dr. Skamra for the first time. The office smelled bad and was very small. The receptionist asked my mom for her personal information in front of a room of people. When my mom stated she didn't feel comfortable with this and wanted to give it privately, the receptionist and the MAs started gossiping and complaining about it. I was very late paying a bill as my HSA had not been funded timely by my husband's employer. It was $79. I explained when the billing office called that it would be another week (it ended up being two weeks). The office cancelled my appointment and sent me to collections without even as much as a follow up phone call. I also have a heart condition and was told by my Electrophysiologist to not take a certain medication she prescribed and to follow up with her about it.
