Our mother Sherry called the Carlton Senior Living Pleasant Hill/Martinez her home for three years. She lived in a community of her peers with a variety of experiences and wonderful life stories to share. Multiple activities for every interest in a lovely setting was a pleasure for her new stage of life. My mom has lived here for a year and a half and we love the Carlton. It is extremely clean and a lovely place to be. What sets this place apart is the people....wonderful and caring staff. They know each individual resident and care for them where they are. Lots of activities and great food. I am grateful for this wonderful home for my mom.

My father moved into the Carlton Senior Living Pleasant Hill-Martinez community in March, 2025 after YEARS of resistance. From the move-in process to now, the experience has been terrific. Amy Tet and her team, and Sandie the director of resident services, were extraordinarily responsive and made the move-in process as easy as possible during a really challenging time for our family. The Carlton Pleasant Hill/Martinez has been an absolute blessing for our family. The staff is incredibly friendly, caring, and genuinely attentive—they take such good care of my mom, and it gives us so much peace of mind. Every time we visit, we’re met with warmth and professionalism. Most of all my mom is in a good mood and feel comfortable. The facilities are beautifully maintained, clean, and welcoming. It truly feels like a home, not an institution. Highly recommend!
