Dr. Carlton is the best! However, getting anyone on staff at this office to answer the phone or return phone calls can be a nightmare. I'm writing this as I've been listening to hold music for over 45 minutes so far, and I still haven't had anyone answer the phone to see what I'm calling about or ask to put me on hold. Just about every time they say they will call me back or call with results, I don't get a call. I'm still willing to deal with the staff to see Dr. Carlton though. Dr Carlton has been my PCP since I moved to Texas 14 years ago. He’s is a patient, thorough and thoughtful physician. However, his staff and their lack of thoroughness and follow-through is enough to make me look for a new doctor which is unfortunate. His office manager doesn’t return calls or attempt to follow up when an issue does arise. Further, they say their office hours on most days are until 5:00, but my call at 4:45 on a Tuesday was picked up by the after-hours answering service leaving me to deal with the same issue... read more
