i agree with chargerguy. I have taken my car here as well. These are really good mechanics with integrity. I had an urgent unexpected issue that they figured out and resolved promptly to keep me on the road. Even as I was a stranger, interrupting their involvement with other repairs, they didn't act put out, and they didn't charge me. They suggested changing out the plugs and wires which was part of the issue, and scheduled me for that the next week. I must say that I strongly disagree with the previous writers review. I have taken a number of vehicles to Jim at Carlton Center and have found him to be knowledgeable, friendly and most of all, HONEST!!! This is a rare find in auto repair shops these days and invaluable. Don't know what the problem was with the previos reviewer, but I have had nothing but great service at a reasonable price from the folks at Carlton Center. I value them greatly.
NEVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!! We brought in our car for noisy front bearings. As soon as we got it back (before we left the lot) the speedometer quit working, the ABS brakes weren't working and three dash lights were on (Brake, ABS and check engine). We had to bring it back 4 different times and received a different story each time. First, we had to bring it in so they could "take a better look at it".
