I have had great experiences with Carlton in the past. Now, I have called and e-mailed several times about repair and have received no response (it has been a week). I stopped by the Moose Lake location to walk in, but the doors were locked even though the hours and sign indicated they were open. Another person had an appointment for bike repair and no one was there to take their bike. Hoping that this is temporary - this company provides an important service to this area, and I value them.

My derailleur got destroyed so I stopped by near closing time on Friday night. They had it ready for me by opening time Saturday morning. The people were super friendly and were going to offer me a loaner if they couldn't get it done in time. They were willing to do whatever it took to make sure my family bike trip wasn't ruined.

Had a flat on my chariot trailer and no spare tube or patch...no wallet either. They didn't leave me stranded though. Old school honor system for a new tube. I'll be going back anytime I need something now. Thanks for helping a guy out and showing the value in good local business ethics!

It was Friday and I was heading out of town for ride with the brother in law but my bike wasn't shifting right. I brought it to the Carlton bike shop, and they gave me a quick tune up on the spot. Great service and even taught me a few things for next time.

We were lucky to have a bike break down in Carlton while riding Hinckley-Jay Cooke and back on the Willard Munger trail. These folks took great care of us and & even stopped to chat a while and get to know us.
