Just watched 2 white men in a Carlson Truck and uniforms yell racial slurs at a black man at the Road Ranger gas station near the market view exit in Champaign. They also threatened him. Idk the whole context but yelling racial slurs definitely wasn't warranted. I'm a white man for reference and that was terrible behavior.
Carlson completed the vinyl siding on my home. Over the past 3 years, we have had pieces come loose & even a piece that fell off. The quality of the installation is horrible. There is no reason that the siding should be coming loose on a new build home if it was installed correctly. When I called to ask if they could secure the loose pieces & address the missing piece, they tried to charge me $450 (their “minimum) just to come out. They obviously don’t stand by their work. I do not recommend.
If you're looking for someone to contact you in a timely manner, look elsewhere. Calling for a quote, gave info and got told they would have someone call. Took 24 hours to get someone to call back TO SET UP A TIME, not to show up. Ridiculous. Then when he finally did call he made assumptions about the property without even coming out. Be careful who you give money to.
Carlson are the true professionals and craftsman to hire if you need a job done correctly. I was having water drainage issues on my roof and they installed kick out and counter flashing while also replacing rotted trim. I was blown away by the level of sophistication and detail to their approach to make sure we had no water issues. The crew was so courteous each day as they completed the work.
