A couple of months ago, my wife and I booked this place for a big gathering. We rented the big gazebo, which overlooked the whole lagoon. Due to the number of people, we are able to have prices fixed per head. Now, pay attention because here is the conniving scheme that this management has done to us. Do not rent jet skis from this company. They have very misleading information online, when you show up and see that you can only ride within a small circle area within buoys and told you can only go counterclockwise for nearly 400 dollars per person for 2 hours.. I mean come on who wants to ride a jet ski in a circle for 2 hours at that price, insanity. They offer no refunds whatsoever. We asked for just one hour instead of two because of the ridiculous price to drive around in a circle and they did not allow it although the... read more
Erik and his staff at California Watersports (or Carlsbad Lagoon) were awesome. They have everything you can imagine for waters sports; waverunners, mini boats, runabout boats, small and large pontoon boats, aqua cycles, and even fun little swan paddle boats. Make sure California Watersports is on your bucket list when you visit Carlsbad or San Diego. They helped me do three through eight of my 57 Adventures in 57 Hours in San Diego.
The place is clean and the jet ski is in good condition. The price is over for a limited place to jet ski. Oy around a small circular area of the lake.
